X-quisite Productions began creating music videos simply for fun.  The group was drawn together by the interest that we had in music, dance, and film making.

Through creating music videos, we found that we were able to express our creativity and enhance our knowledge in video production.

As a non-profit group, our mission is to bring smiles to the faces of our viewers.  In the upcoming years, we hope to create videos of different genres to accommodate the preferences of everybody.

There was a time when I almost gave up. I can't do it alone, I kept thinking. Now, after 6 months, I've proved to myself that I can.  From choosing the song, writing the script, to filming and editing the video, I've nourished it like my baby. Now that my baby has grown up, I can let down this heavy burden.

To say that we used 6 months to produce this video I guess would be a lie.  Everyone who participated in the making of this video has school, work, and a social life to tend to.  And of course, the summer is a great time to squeeze in a vacation too.  Thus, it wasn't easy to accommodate everyone's schedule as video making is never our priority.  About 7 days in total were used to film over a span of 5 months.  My apologies for delaying the progress of this video as I have been sick for the past month.  From overcoming time issues, computer issues, people issues, and health issues, I'm definitely glad that this video has finally been completed.

Making this video caused a lot of stress, especially in the last 3 months when everything was pretty much suspended. But more importantly, making the video left me with many memories and it allowed me to spend time with friends over the course of my summer. Nothing can replace the experience I gained and the memories I collected.

Apart from being able to have fun with making the video, there certainly was a degree of seriousness to it. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude towards each individual who has helped me with this project.

First of all, my parents, Lisan & David Wu, without their unconditional support and assistance with the cinematography I would've given up on this project. Thank you for putting up with me at times when I was ultimately stressed, for driving me around, and for making everything work out. To my actor, Danio Kwan, thank you for taking on the role as the player boyfriend. Take after take, not once did he fume at having to redo his slapping scenes. Props to you, buddy! My actresses, Pamela Chan, Jessica Chui, and Adrienne Ng. I can't thank you girls enough for your help and support. Much thanks to our dance choreographer, Daphne Choi, for taking time out of her busy schedule to choreograph a great routine; I loved it. The dancers, Vanesa De Marco, Kinnard Chan, and Min-Soo Kang. Thank you guys for your patience and effort while filming under extreme heat. Kudos to you all. Richard Yum, thanks for your suggestions and for helping me out with technical issues. You thought I forgot, eh? Steve Herzog, thanks for your encouragement. Last but not least, thank you to Kenny Ly and Terence Lau for helping me in times of need.

As always, I want to stress that X-quisite is not out to compete with anyone. I personally have no previous experience with filming, unlike those who major in film production or have taken courses on filming in high school. This project, for me, was both an experiment and experience.

I hope everyone enjoys the video as much as I have enjoyed making it.

Thanks again.

October 2004, X-quisite Productions launched its first music video, Harlem Yu's "Qing Fei De Yi". We managed to squeeze in "The Reason", which was a side project of Kenny's, shortly after that. But since then, X-quisite seems to have hibernated.

Where have they gone?

It's been 10 months since our first video. People have been waiting, people have been asking, people have been anxious to see something new.

It's finally that time everyone's been waiting for; the new X-quisite video is now in production. The new video will carry a different beat from our previous videos. We're trying out new things, playing with more effects, incorporating more elements into our production. We've managed to gather an awesome crew, not to mention the amazing dance choreography of Daphne Choi. Directed by Frances, the theme and the song will be a kept secret until the video is launched.

For a preview of the production behind the new video, check out the trailer Frances has put together. Click on the image above to watch.

Much thanks to our choreographer, Daphne, and our dancers, Kinnard, Min-soo, Vanesa, for a great day of filming.  Dancing under extreme heat waves and dehydration in a forest full of bees, mosquitoes, and butterflies (how can we possibly forget about them) on one of summer's hottest days is not what you would call fun and games.  The patience and effort of everyone on set does not go unnoticed.  X-quisite truly appreciates the help and hard work of our wonderful dancers.  Thank you again.

Now, here comes [some of] the pictures!

Hey everybody, we know that you all are slowly losing your patience as we have not posted up any new media since November 2004. Well, no need to worry. You're up for a big surprise in the upcoming month or so.  More action, more effects and most importantly, more smiles.

In the last year, our site has focused mainly on music videos, links and polls. We plan on expanding our viewers interest by including pictures. Perhaps behind the scenes of our production, candid shots and wallpapers.  If you have any suggestions on what you may like to see on our site, please let us know.

X-quisite Productions has always been known for having three members; Frances, Kenny and Tommy.  Keep a look out for our new members. Lets welcome TERENCE LAU into our group. "Welcome to X-quisite, Terence."

Despite all the bumpy roads we have gone through, we thank you for your patience and endless support. Keep your eyes opened for updates on the site.

Just a short update. I thought it would be interesting to bring out that since our launch in October 2004, we have reached approximately 310 gigs of bandwidth usage. That is approximately over 6000 video downloads through over 7000 hits on our counter. I thought it was really amazing that our numbers were this high knowing that we have not posted anything since November 2004. We hope to continue with our projects and to see our numbers rise. Thanks again, X-quisite fans.

Finally an update. Well unfortunately not the update you are probably expecting. No worries though. From the emails and comments that we've been getting from you fans, we have been getting plenty of request for new projects to be made and posted. We, X-quisite members, have been pulling our hair out with school. We are aware that since November we had promised to entertain you fans more but we did not expect school to be this brain-draining. But since exams are currently taking place, the summer should be on its way therefore more projects for you to see soon. Please be patient as we get more stuff made. Again, we are sorry for the wait and as always, we very much appreciate your support for X-quisite Productions. We'll keep you all posted.

1) As you can all see, we decided to make our site easier so that all of you can reach the destinations you want without getting lost or confused. We hope this will help and that you enjoy this site.

Harlem Yu - Qing Fei De YiHoobastank - The Reason

So far our videos have been pretty successful and we thank every single one of you for supporting us. Our first hit, 'Harlem Yu - Qing Fei De Yi' was a big success. We've received awesome comments and support on our very first attempt and thanks to you, we decided to continue on with our assignments. We hope to make every single one of you happy. Our latest posting was Kenny's non-X-quisite related project that he decided to do with his buddies. 'Hoobastank - The Reason' was a request made by a few of his pals so Kenny decided to satisfy their needs with a video for that single. Although the video didn't turn out too well it still had pretty decent reviews. Thank you all.

3) We're currently working on a new video and setting plans for the near future. Being the busy people that we are at this time, our schedules are tight and we're making every effort in getting things updated on this site as often as possible. So please bare with us in the time being.

4) Although this next point is non-X-quisite related, Frances and Kenny have finally finished there personal sites and are ready for you to check out. In the meantime, Kenny has been very busy working on the X-quisite site as well as maintaining his own personal site. Keep checking in for updates.
