After 3 months of hard work to complete my last professional course, I walked out of that class with an A. Sue gave me 95% on the men’s dress shirt project (which accounted for 50% of my mark). When I went in for my follow-up interview, Sue claimed she didn’t have much to talk to me about because she was fairly impressed with my presentation. She did point out, though, that I went over the 40-minute limit (I used 53 minutes) and had she stopped me at 40 minutes, I wouldn’t have covered some very important elements of my presentation. I guess I was lucky. Â
It was definitely nice to hear my teacher say that she had great confidence with my work from the very beginning.  Ironically, it was her confidence in me that stressed me throughout the months; I was worried I couldn’t live up to her expectations.Â
Again, I proved that my worst enemy is no one but myself.

I still can’t believe it’s over, that huge project worth 50% of my total mark. I actually survived it.
To put it short, the presentation went pretty well (at least that’s what I think). The 40 minute presentation was a breeze, it was just putting together the 45 page report and powerpoint presentation that I wanted to strangle myself over. I lost a lot of sleep trying to finish the damn thing, and by Tuesday morning, I was looking a little green (I’m not even kidding). But luckily, I managed to pull it off in time. I’m so glad it’s over!
I’ve been taking it real easy the past few days. After work on Friday night, I hung out at the Frog & Firkin with some co-workers. Then after work on Saturday night, I met up with Kevin and the 2 Calvin’s for All-You-Can-Eat Jap. After dinner, we met up with Matthew, Jacky and Brandon for drinks. From hanging out with 5 guys, I learned that their conversations really do revolve around cars and video games. Nonetheless, I had a good time.
I have one exam next Friday, but that doesn’t bother me one bit. I’m ready to party!

Looks like you’ve found your way here! This new blog marks another journey travelled and another destination reached. Through everything I’ve done this past year, I’ve learned and experienced a lot.  It’s as if I died and was given a new life.So let me start from scratch again.
